<<<===Songs of sirens and songs of Jethro Tull===>>>
Some say that the songs of sirens could twist one's mind, making him forget about himself, capturing him in a trance. But what about the live songs of Jethro Tull?
One might think that their live songs have the same effect. I've always wondered how can some "simple" songs have such an effect? It seemed impossible to me, but I actually found out yesterday when I attended Jethro Tull's concert in Sibiu.
At one point I trully forgot I was anywhere in time and space. Then my friend Luhter brought me back to this world... from Heaven, or so i think. For me it simply had a more wonderful effect then good 'ol Marry Jane. It was one of the most extraordinary things I've ever experienced.
I might not have fully explained what I felt while listening to them, but I'm no writter. Sorry guys!
Trying to be more objective and stop ranting on about what I felt, I must say that it was a HUGE surprise for me to see that Ian Anderson, who is 60 or even older, sang extremely wonderful. Bloody hell! His voice sounded even better then on the discs!!! He was trying hard to sing well, but he did far better then "well". His flute playing was awesome and his jokes very funny. He also did lots of running around and the sort of things you would expect from a rock star.
Jethro Tull didn't have their full formation. They had some other pros singing with them, filling the places of Martin Barre and David Goodier (I THINK)... James Duncan played the drums.
They really showed the huge crowd that they are professionals. The music flowed like a mountain river. They made absolutely no mistake. It was all clean and wonderful. They did a little bit of "porno jazz" as they called it, singing songs of J S Bach and Mozzart in a rather rocky-jazzy way.
The best thing and most unexpected thing was the fact that the concert was FREE. It was FREE. I couldn't believe it!!! It's madness. Since Sibiu is the European Capital City of Culture, the local council must have organized this wonderful event, because they knew that people of ALL AGES would come to see the concert. I think that's the reason for the huge crowd.
To conclude with, I still can't get over the fact that I nearlly missed the concert because I was as stubborn as a mule and I said "I don't care about the concert. It can't be something that cool". I've almost been a gully dwarf!

ZyraxComics is taking a small pause. Actually it has been taking it for a long time now. I've just been very busy and also a way for more then a week. But I've written the script for Issue #2 and I'm looking forward to bringing it to life.
